The UMC Ob/Gyn Lectureship Series & Jackson Gynecic Society provide CME programs for local ob/gyn physicians as well as members of the Jackson Gynecic Society on the third Monday evening of each month from September through April, excluding December at Shapley's.  Contact Gail Head at 601-984-5392 to reserve your space.

The UMC Ob/Gyn Resident Research Symposium is held in June each year.  Our third- and fourth-year residents present their research projects.  Tours of the Wiser Hospital available upon request.

Winfred L. Wiser Society Summer Conference.  The Winfred L. Wiser Society was developed in honor of Dr. Wiser and commits itself to continue to strive to perpetuate his ideals and philosophy in the care of women and to extend his inspiration to other obstetricians and gynecologists. 

This conference is held every other year in a family friendly environment and provides for many optional social events.

Update in Gynecology is a meeting held in January outside Yazoo City.  It provides for informal learning in a relaxed environment.  Enrollment is limited due to space and duck hunting is optional.
